Fairview Heights

Home to more than 17,000 residents, Fairview Heights is a destination in the metro-east. With its close proximity to St. Louis, Scott Air Force Base and the St. Clair County seat of government in Belleville, Fairview Heights is an excellent location for shopping, dining, entertainment and living.

Shopping & Dining in Fairview Heights 

St. Clair Square,  Fairview City Center, Crossroads Center and Marketplace Shopping Center, and Winchester Plaza create a shopping experience for any style or desire. Culinary delight is easy to find in Fairview Heights from barbecue at Bandanas to the great selections at Cheddars, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Lotawata Creek, not to mention authentic Italian favorites at Agostino’s. The selection of shopping and food in Fairview Heights is limitless.


Parks and recreation

The goal of the Fairview Heights Parks and Recreation Department is to provide a friendly, clean and wholesome atmosphere for residents and visitors to enjoy and they do a great job with several venues including  Pleasant Ridge Park, Moody Park, Ogles Creek Park and the new state of the art Fairview Heights Rec Center.    Residents are sure to find whatever space they desire for fun and entertainment.


Education in Fairview Heights

Junior high students attend Grant School District or Pontiac-W Holliday School District, and the city houses several elementary schools within its boundaries.  High school aged students complete their education at nearby Belleville East High School. Post-secondary education is easily accessed at nearby Southwestern Illinois College or Lindenwood University-Belleville, and Vatterott College has a Fairview Heights campus.


Health Care

The health care needs of the community are addressed by two highly respected health care centers: St. Elizabeth's Hospital just off of interstate 64 in O’Fallon  and BJC Memorial with locations in Belleville and Shiloh.
